The Chapel Music Assistant provides administrative support to the Director of Chapel Music and College Organist, as well as to the College Carillonist and Director of Summer Music Series. The assistant supports a variety of annual and occasional programming, including the Trinity Organ Series, Summer Music Series, the Albert Schweitzer Organ Festival, Christmas Festival of Lessons and Carols, and Choral Evensong. The assistant also produces and coordinates promotion of Chapel Music events, both on campus and throughout the region.Qualifications
  • Previous administrative experience working within an arts organization, religious organization, or institution of higher education.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexible hours for some nights and weekends as required.
  • Strong computer skills and digital fluency, including experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, social media, etc.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Remote work possible.
Preferred:
  • Knowledge or appreciation of classical music.
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva and/or InDesign)
  • Experience in website management (Wordpress)
