Plans and directs hospital wide mission integration strategy ensuring that best practices are present in each facet of the following areas; In patient care, Staff engagements, Chaplains, Physician Engagement, Communities of faith outreach, Creation Health. Minimum Education

Master of Divinity degree or equivalent

Minimum of four units of Clinical Pastoral Education

Required Licenses
  • Ordination/licensure as minister in good standing with the SDA Church
  • Endorsement through Adventist Chaplaincy Ministries of the General Conf. of SDA
  • Board Certification with the Association of Professional Chaplains
  • Certificate in Critical Incident Stress Management

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Congregational pastoral experience
  • Four-units or residency in Clinical Pastoral Education
