Job DescriptionInova is seeking PRN Chaplain to join the Patient Experience team. This position is a PRN working as need to include evenings, nights and weekends. Hours will vary based on the department need. You must live within 45 minutes of Fairfax hospital location for on-call arrival time purposes. Job Responsibilities included but not limited to:
- As a Chaplain (PRN), you will assist the manager or director in supporting an interdisciplinary approach to patient care among nursing, medical, and volunteer chaplain staff.
- Participate in delivering and/or arranging for effective and appropriate spiritual care support to patients, their loved ones, and staff in assigned areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor's degree
- Degree in In Religious or theological pastoral studies highly preferred
- Required - one units of Clinical Pastoral Education. (CPE) or similar training
- 1 - Year (One year of working in a hospital or clinical)
