Qorvo (Nasdaq: QRVO) supplies innovative semiconductor solutions that make a better world possible.We combine product and technology leadership, systems-level expertise and global manufacturing scale to quickly solve our customers' most complex technical challenges.Qorvo serves diverse high-growth segments of large global markets, including consumer electronics, smart home/IoT, automotive, EVs, battery-powered appliances, network infrastructure, healthcare and aerospace/defense.Visit www.qorvo.com to learn how our diverse and innovative team is helping connect, protect and power our planet.SUMMARY:Characterization Test Engineer: This position will be working with the product development team in our Advanced Cellular Group, developing automated test measurements, collecting performance test data, and supplying conformance test reports for each of our products in development.RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and implement automated RF test solutions to support the characterization of the DC and RF performance of RF integrated circuits (RFICs) such asPower Amplifier Modules with integrated duplexers and switches (PAMiDS).Generate test plans (e.g., equipment setup, programming, data analysis and distribution) based on review of device test specs and requirementsWork with design and applications engineers to coordinate test plans and report formatsWrite characterization software for test automation using Microsoft C#.NET, VB.NETTrain other engineers and technicians on platform use, RF test methodologies, and custom tool usageAnalyze and present results for review using Excel and SpotfireQUALIFICATIONS:A minimum of a Bachelors Degree in an Engineering discipline, Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred0-2 years of experienceAnalog/Digital/RF Theory coursework and/or experience requiredExperience in RF hardware and software test development using object-oriented programming languages such as C#.NET and VB.NETFamiliarity with RF equipment (VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Duplexer, Filter, Coupler)Familiarity with Mobile communication standards (GSM, EDGE, CDMA, WCDMA, LTE, LTEA, 5GNR) along with measurements (ACLR, EVM, SEM, IMD, S-Parameters)Exposure to SpotfireStrong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical informationStrong collaboration and team skills with a continual learner attitudeThis position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship by the company.MAKE A DIFFERENCE AT QORVOWe are Qorvo.
