RN or LPN Charge Nurse- 12 HR Day/Night Shift
The Charge Nurse position at McKnight Place Assisted Living & Memory Care is responsible for overseeing the CNAs and CMTs in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents. This position is ideal for someone who has sound clinical judgement, is a team player, and enjoys spending time with seniors!
Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility for nursing care of residents during assigned shift.
- Direct nursing care provided to all residents in accordance with State and Federal Regulation and administrative policies.
- Monitor and maintain accurate and complete records of nursing observation and care/treatment provided in nursing notes.
- Maintain communication between nursing personnel.
- Counsel CNAs, CMTs, and Restorative Nursing Assistants, and recommend corrective action to Director of Clinical Services.
- Perform CMT duties as needed.
- Identify emergency situations and initiate appropriate procedures.
- Monitor and maintain narcotic records, psychotropic drug record, and other records as required.
- Complete all required clinical assessments in a timely manner.
- Follow established guidelines for maintaining the highest level of confidentiality regarding residents and their personal information.

Salary: From $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32-40 hours/weekly

- 3x12 hour shifts
- Rotating weekends
Experience:
- LPN: 1 year (Preferred)
- RN: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- LPN (Required)
- RN (Required)
Ability to Relocate:
- St. Louis, MO 63124: Relocate before starting work (Required)
Work Location: In person
