This role involves liaising with districts, drivers and management, providing terms and conditions, and ensuring that charter services are provided in a timely and cost-effective manner. The Charter Coordinator is also responsible for overseeing the implementation of all charter-related policies and procedures, monitoring and providing regular reports on charter activities and performance. - Proficiency to communicate effectively with school staff and parents
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with school staff, bus drivers and management
- Experienced in gathering and analyzing data
- Capable of compiling and summarizing information
- Skilled with organizing and prioritizing tasks effectively
- Ability to learn, interpret and explain policies and regulations
- Computer literacy is a must
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists the Charter Manager in the management of the daily school bus operations
- The employee is expected to help resolve problems and to confer with their manager
- Work is performed under general supervision
- Enter charter reservations including itinerary and costs
- Help maintain payroll for charter bus drivers
- Supervise charter bus drivers, create congenial work atmosphere for drivers, assist drivers with any needs or problems that occur
- Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor(s)
