**Description**

As a Chef Manager, you will create culinary excellence in foodservice in the unit you serve. You are part of a cohesive team that loves great food, cooks from scratch using fresh, seasonal and better-for-you ingredients. Working under the direction of the Director of Operations, you will have the chance to develop Cater To Yous employees and cultivate strong working relationships with the school community. You will be a part a culture that nurtures work-life balance, equal opportunity employment, and inclusion.

**Best candidates will:**

* Consistently produce from scratch for both high-volume meal service and special events.

* Ensure consistent quality and adherence to CTY standards.

* Execute unique menus based on seasonality, within CTY company standards.

* Communicate effectively and efficiently with all stakeholders.

* Strive for excellence, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethics, and respectful behavior.

* Understand and adhere to CTY budget plans, workflows, and required recordkeeping.

* Maintain Flexibility in the face of rapidly changing client and staff needs and short notice requests.

* Possess computer software and application literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft products, and the ability to adapt to new platforms.

Qualifications

* A degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent is preferred.

* A minimum of five years progressive culinary management experience

* Strong leadership, coaching, and training ability.

* Safe serve or department of health certification

This position will report to the Director of Operations and work closely with the Director of Culinary Projects.

Salary is contingent on experience.
