We provide exceptional training and a clear career path.We are proud to be a military and veteran friendly employer.About This Position* Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:00am - 3:00pm*weekends and standard Holidays off*Our ideal Chef Manager excels at the following:Passionate about food and serviceUtilized its culinary background to create menus and recipesBe creative in creating menus within the assigned product & portion costHas a solid understanding of food handling regulationsAbility to manage food production cost and service planningAbility to work as a team member, as well as independentlyAbility to multi task and adapt to changes quicklyDependable and flexible to ensure operation & service continues without interruptionA strong leader and coachEssential Functions, Duties, and ResponsibilitiesMaster menu planning for the operationIncorporating key calendar themes, seasons, and holidays in the menu developmentDirect responsibility for production, ordering, inventory, and direct service to the guests & clientKnows and complies consistently with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, recipes and kitchen standardsHandles, stores, labels, and rotates all products properly and in accordance to applicable state lawsFollows assigned instruction to properly stock and maintain sufficient levels of food at all service linesSupervise food service workers in the daily preparation of mealsEstablish a professional and collaborative relationship with the site client leadershipTrain and onboard all new food service workers assigned to the operationWeekly unit accounting and tracking to include inventory management, production forecasting, and food orderingOther duties as determined by the needs of the businessWhat You'll Need* High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent* 2-5 years of culinary experience* Prior experience cooking in a cafeteria or large volume production facility a plus* Prior knowledge and experience in a kitchen or large cafeteria setting preferred* Experience with safety procedures as typical in a cafeteria or food service environment* High volume to single unit* Ability to train staff* ServeSafe certification preferredBenefitsTrinity Services Group (TSG) offers comprehensive benefits to all regular-full time employees:* Medical w/prescription coverage* Benefit Credit received when enrolled in a TKC medical plan, to help offset your benefit costs.
