Working at one of these locations is exciting and allows you to be part of creating memorable experiences for people.We are seeking a Chef Manager with prior culinary supervisory/management skills and hands-on food production experience to join our team at the American Airlines/British Airways (AA/BA) lounges at JFK Airport. Our airport lounges are dedicated spaces for passengers to relax and rejuvenate while awaiting their next adventure. Sodexo operates this 3-tiered lounge which services international, long-haul travelers and will offer top-tier amenities and expanded premium food and beverage offerings.IncentivesPaid Airport ParkingWhat You'll Do* be responsible for purchasing, menu/recipe compliance, inventory, food production forecasting, hands-on cooking;* supervision of large-scale batch cooking;* ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;* have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;* ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or* have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.What We OfferCompensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
