Life-changing outcomes.CommQuest seeks Part-time and Full-time Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistants (CDCA I & II) & Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors (LCDC I, II, or II & LICDC) to work at our residential, detox, and outpatient facilities in Canton, Massillon, and Alliance. What you'll do:
- Provide chemical dependency intakes/screenings/assessments.
- Provides individual and group counseling.
- Provide crisis intervention/counseling for individuals to resolve or stabilize the crisis.
- Carries a case load and maintains CommQuest productivity requirements.
- All other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required, with an Associate's degree in Human Services, Chemical Dependency, or another related field highly desired.
- Minimum of a current, active CDCA (I & II), LCDC (I, II, & III), or LICDC certification through the Ohio CDP Board is required.
- Previous experience of 1+ year working with adults with Substance Use Disorder and/or mild to moderate mental illness is required.
- Must have the ability to establish working relationships with diverse individuals in a variety of settings and situations.
- Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other providers in the agency and community.
