We're supporting an automotive T-1/T-2 supplier of injection molded parts. They're searching for an experienced Chemical Engineer who will focus on phosphate coating processes. You'll have the opportunity to support some of America's largest OEMs while working with experts in the injection molding industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop processes and stations related to phosphate coating
- Specify and support the purchasing of related equipment for processes
- Introduce new tools, fixtures and jigs where relevant for new product lines
- Analyse and improve current coating processes
- Support troubleshooting and scheduled/preventative maintenance
- Ensure the highest level of compliance related to the environmental impacts of each process
Requirements:
- Chemical Engineering Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledgeable on OSHA, hazardous material handling and hazardous material watste
Either:
- 2+ years experience related to phosphate coating processes, or
- 5+ years experience process engineering experience in an injection molding environment, or
- 5+ years experience as a Chemical Engineer
