Title: Chemical OperatorShift: Mon - Fri ,2 PM-10:30 PMLocation: Wyandotte, MIDuration: till Feb 2025Pay $19/hr### Description:The candidate's assignment will include, but is not limited to, operating cryogenic deburring machines and providing support on the production mold line. Responsibilities also include operating bin handling equipment and other common material moving equipment. The candidate will be responsible for identifying and reporting safety violations or concerns and will be generally responsible for assigned duties.#### Key Responsibilities:- Operation of cryogenic deburring machines and production mold line support.- Operating bin handling and other material moving equipment.- Identifying and reporting safety violations or concerns.- Providing support in the operation of chemical processes, including loading and unloading tank trucks and rail cars.- Demonstrating excellent housekeeping skills, attendance, and teamwork.#### Requirements:- Minimum of 1 year experience in a production manufacturing environment.- Willingness to work all shifts and overtime as required.- Manufacturing assembly/production experience.- Experience with pumping and loading/unloading tank trucks and rail cars.- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and operate a forklift.- Basic knowledge of chemical processes.- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.- Willingness to work rotating shifts as needed.#### Qualifications:- 3 years of experience as a chemical operator preferred.- Basic computer skills.- Ability to work well in a team environment.- Demonstrates good work habits (attendance, safety, housekeeping, etc.).- Good verbal and written communication skills.- Basic knowledge of SAP.#### Physical Requirements:- Ability to work 24/7 rotating shifts.- Ability to lift and carry up to 55 lbs.- Ability to work from heights and in small contained areas.- Ability to wear a face mask/shield when needed.This assignment has the opportunity for full-time Operator placement. The incumbent must be hands-on in manufacturing, interfacing with products and equipment in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
