Job Description
We are looking for a candidate that is motivated to grow and excel with our team. We are a tight knit group, dedicated to the success and excellence of the laboratory.
You will be in a unique position to directly impact the growth and direction of the company. You must be highly motivated, proactive and take initiative. You must be comfortable taking on multiple roles and be able to pivot to different methods and projects.
We are specifically looking for someone with experience with LC-MSMS
If you are used to doing the same analysis over and over and are not interested in learning new instrumentation and methodology this is not the job for you.
Candidate will be responsible for chemical analyses, method development, method validation, and related laboratory duties.
Ideally the candidate will have experience with EPA, AOAC, & USP methods and experience with any of the following; HPLC-MS-MS, GCMS, and/or wetbench chemistry.
Must have experience with job related experience instrumentation and be able to work with minimal training or supervision
Responsibilities
- Method Development Develop, implement, and validate methods for GC-FID, HPLC, IC, HPLC-MSMS
- Review & analyze data.
- Sustain an in-depth knowledge of all procedures performed in the department and insure these procedures comply with USP, ISO, & NELAC standards
- Insure that all quality control requirements associated with the department, including MDL/LOD/LOQ studies, SOP reviews, DOC requirements, and audit responses are completed in a timely manner.
- Contribute directly to the growth and expansion of the company Our team is dedicated to constant improvement, and is always working on new methods, and ways to optimize current methods. You will have the opportunity to develop and validate new methods within the parameters of ISO 17025
What You Bring
- A passion for science, continual improvement & commitment to high quality work.
- In depth knowledge of USP, AOAC, & EPA methods relating to analysis of foods &/or environmental samples.
- A strong desire to constantly learn and improve
- Expertise in Chromatography, method development, method optimization, high throughput.
- Prefer prior experience with Sciex Mass Spectrometers, Agilent HPLCs, and Shimadzu UHPLCs, and agilent ICP-MS

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
