A24 is currently seeking a Marketing Director for the Cherry Lane Theatre. The ideal candidate is someone who understands the creative and strategic marketing needs and is entrepreneurial, solution-oriented, well organized, and a team player. The ideal candidate is able to work both independently and collaboratively to drive strategy and results for our historic Off-Broadway theater.Initial ResponsibilitiesDevelop and own the marketing strategy, roadmap and objectives for the reopening of the Cherry Lane Theatre.Build unique, dynamic and forward-looking marketing plans and creative materials for each individual piece of programming.Oversee the creation of all relevant marketing materials including but not limited to the website, social media, digital advertising, playbills, and posters in line with CLT brand guidelines and voice.Foster community support to build awareness and buy-in across multiple stakeholder groups.Collaborate with the managing director, programming director, and A24's in-house marketing team, as well as external partners and agencies as needed, to drive the best outcomes for our theater and projects.Qualifications8+ years of relevant experience working in innovative marketing for the arts, ideally in live/performing arts.Excellent creative instincts and design direction skills.Entrepreneurial mentality and comfort with ambiguity.Ability to think high-level and translate strategy into execution.Knowledge of ticketing strategies and platforms.Exceptional project management capabilities.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Unflappable, solution-oriented team player.Proactive mindset & a willingness to take on a range of projects.Humble, diligent, and resourceful.Passionate about media & entertainment.We are looking for diverse perspectives. We do not use formal job titles internally and similarly named positions may have different compensation levels. Actual starting salary within the range will depend on various considerations, including work experience, skills, specializations, and training.
