What's a typical day as a Cherry Picker Operator? You'll be:
- Loading and unloading trucks and interfacing with common carriers
- Checking incoming product against documentation to verify accuracy
- Receiving product into the system using barcode scanners or computers
- Putting product away in the proper area/zone using order pickers, turret trucks, and pallet jacks
- Picking products for customer orders and manufacturing orders using barcode scanners and pick tickets
- Packing products according to packaging instructions and labeling requirements
- Preparing cartons and pallet loads for shipment and generating necessary documentation
- Managing recycling of wooden pallets and maintaining a clean workstation
- Following all safety, security, and emergency procedures
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or G.E.D. education
- Have at least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role
- Possess basic computer skills
