Provides effective and coordinated leadership to deliver nursing care, treatment and services. As a transformational leader, this individual develops a strong vision, a well-articulated philosophy, a Professional Nursing Practice model and nursing strategic and quality plans in leading nursing services that align with organizational priorities. The CNO develops goals and objectives with particular emphasis on the Nursing Department and continually ensures that the delivery of patient care is evidenced based and innovative with attention to individualized plans that address age/developmental and psycho-socio-cultural patient treatment needs. This individual has the authority and responsibility for the overall management and leadership of the nursing staff to achieve goals and objectives through programmatic planning, implementation and ongoing evaluation at the respective campus. Responsible for all Nursing Education, academic affiliations, and Performance Improvement activities/programs. Education Bachelors Degree : Nursing (Required) Masters Degree : in Nursing or a related field.
