This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of the largest campaign in liberal arts college history, the Dare Northward campaign, which aims to raise $1 billion to further position Colby as a national leader in liberal arts education.Reporting to the Senior Vice President, the CAO will oversee all aspects of fundraising, alumni and donor engagement, operations, and research. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and data-informed decision-maker with extensive experience in fundraising and managing teams in complex organizations.Key Responsibilities:Developing and implementing effective fundraising strategies.Fostering a diverse and inclusive working environment.Using contemporary analytics to guide the Advancement Office's efforts.Personally cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding high-level prospects.The CAO must possess a proven track record in comprehensive campaign management, exemplary interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic. A minimum of ten years of fundraising and managerial experience, flexibility to travel, and a bachelor's degree are required.
