Overview:
The Data Analytics Associate will be part of the team supporting the bank-wide data management program, especially on data analytics and visualization activities and promoting the good use of the business data throughout the Organization.
Responsibilities:
Data Analytics
- Work with business team and learn their domains to understand and help formulate their data needs and make recommendations.
- Identify the right data source. Perform data quality analysis, propose data issue root cause analysis and propose remediation solutions.
- Develop automated processes for data scraping with IT support. Cleanse and standardize data as needed.
- Perform exploratory data analysis, and analyze the trends and patterns in complex datasets.
- Build KPIs and KRIs with Business Intelligence tools like Qlik Sense, Tableau, etc., to produce dashboards, including graphs, tables, and other visualizations.
- Create presentation decks using PowerPoint (or similar) to present the data analysis results to the business and management.
- Explore and learn hands-on skills on new tools to enhance the Data Analytics capacity.
Data Analytics Education, Communications and Guidance
- Advocating data analytics practices and technology to business stakeholders.
- Contribute toward the development and execution of education trainings and roadshows on data analytics across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry focusing on data
- 1-2 years of experience in a data analytics, content-centric/data-centric role
- 1-2 years of experience with SQL and BI/Data Visualization
- Good SQL skills (e.g., dynamic SQL, stored procedures, process automation)
- Good experience in data analytics, including coding experience with Python and Business Intelligence tools like Qlik Sense, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiar with data management principles (data governance, data quality management)
- Working experience within the financial services area.
Pay Range
Actual salary is commensurate with candidates relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications.
