The Treasurer-Tax Collector's Office is seeking an experienced candidate to lead and manage the Treasury options. In this role, you will be responsible for investing the Treasurer's pool of approximately $2.7 billion at a high point and overseeing the day-to-day cash flow needs of the County, Schools, and Special Districts. Essential duties include managing banking operations, handling bond issuance, administration, and disclosure. This position involves supervising a team of three direct reports and nine total positions, participating in committees, managing financial systems, and preparing detailed financial reports.
Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will have five years of responsible professional financing experience with a focus in investments and/or public finance and two years of supervisory experience. Additionally, this position requires an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in finance, business administration, economics or a related field.
