Summary:

Responsible for driving sustainable growth, profitability, and strategic development. The ideal candidate will be a visionary with strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across executive teams to achieve corporate objectives. This position is responsible for creating and executing policies, strategies, and procedures to enhance market position, operational efficiency, and financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and align the company's vision and strategy with business goals.
  • Analyze market trends and opportunities to inform long-term planning.
  • Establish and track performance metrics for growth and efficiency.
  • Represent the company as a thought leader at industry events.

Operational & Financial Management:

  • Oversee daily operations, budget management, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and improve key metrics, such as delivery performance and fuel efficiency.
  • Lead fleet and driver management, including recruitment, training, and retention.

Team Leadership & Culture Development:

  • Build a high-performing team, foster collaboration, and drive employee engagement.
  • Mentor top talent and ensure alignment with company values.

Business Development & Customer Relations:

  • Cultivate relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Drive new business initiatives, including market expansion and strategic partnerships.
  • Act as the company's primary spokesperson.

Performance Analysis & Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics. Lead strategy reviews and adjust plans as needed to stay competitive.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and manage potential risks.
  • Implement policies and risk mitigation strategies to protect operations and financial health.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 10+ years of proven success in senior management roles within transportation, logistics, or supply chain
  • Skilled in fleet management technology and digital transformation.
  • Strong decision-making, adaptability, and results-driven mindset.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and a passion for customer service and sustainability.
  • Travel up to 50%
