Who's the business

Zanda is partnering with a rapidly growing AI CleanTech scaleup as they look to bring in an experience CFO with IPO and later stage funding experience. The business has excellent product market fit and recently concluded on a Series B raise from a tier one investor and is looking to accelerate its growth.

The business have a suite of proprietary technologies and advanced solutions in AI, software, consulting, and manufacturing to offer comprehensive support in areas of carbon tracking and energy efficiency. As the business prepares for rapid international growth and a public listing, the company seeks a strategic and visionary CFO to lead financial operations and drive its next phase of growth.

What experiences you will gain

  • Drive the company's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with its growth and sustainability objectives.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, ensuring optimization of unit economics, revenues, and gross margins.
  • Spearhead private capital fundraising efforts, particularly Series C / Pre-IPO round.
  • Cultivate relationships with institutional investors, venture capital firms, and private equity stakeholders.
  • Oversee the financial and regulatory aspects of a public listing, managing relationships with sponsors and nomads.
  • Ensure compliance with listing requirements and financial reporting standards.
  • Provide financial guidance to support the company's global growth and market entry strategies.
  • Oversee accounting, tax, and audit functions, ensuring compliance with international financial reporting standards.
  • Optimize internal controls and risk management frameworks.

What background should you have before you press apply!

  • CPA, Chartered Accountant (CA), or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience with public listings on the AIM (London Stock Exchange), Nasdaq, or NYSE.
  • Expertise in private capital fundraising, particularly in late-stage (Series B-D) or Pre-IPO scenarios.
  • Experience managing financial operations for organizations with revenues between $10 million and $100 million.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, capital markets, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working with companies undergoing international expansion.
  • Ability to scale financial operations and processes in high-growth international organizations.
