Job Description:

Responsible for supporting the site's President and other senior leadership at the sites, developing and maintaining the operating and capital budget for the sites (both strategic and routine capital), analyzing key performance indicators, and assisting in producing business plans for newservices proposed. Ensures compliance with regulations and serves as a liaison between site leadership and corporate finance.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Creates, coordinates, and evaluates the financial programs and supporting information systems of the company to include budgeting, tax planning, real estate, and conservation of assets.
  • Analyzes costs, operations, and forecasts data on services and program activities in coordination with Partners, COO, Managers, and Providers to monitor progress in meeting program financial targets.
  • Develops credibility for the finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financial trends to assist Partners in performing their responsibilities.
  • Approves and coordinates changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems for the company.
  • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
  • Oversees the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, and position control documents, department budgets, mass salary updates, ledger, bank statement reconciliation, account maintenance, account payments, and data entry.
  • Prepares financial statements, financial reports, financial analyses, financial forecasting, and bonus and dividend distributions.
  • Supervises department personnel, to include hiring, training, scheduling, monitoring, evaluating, and terminating, all in consultation with CEO, COO, and Human Resources.
  • Develops and implements finance, accounting, and auditing procedures and maintains appropriate internal control safeguards.
  • Ensures records systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.
  • Develops and directs the implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs, and systems.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
  • Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
  • 7-10 years experience in healthcare finance or relevant area.
