Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team and play a key role in driving our financial strategy and success. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial functions, maintaining compliance, and contributing to the strategic direction of Glenn Burdette.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial aspects of the Firm, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
  • Monitor cash flow, investments, and financial performance against budget
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to financial processes
  • Manage the administration and communication of the ESOP
  • Maintain compliance with ESOP regulations and reporting requirements
  • Qualifications:

  • In-person position – San Luis Obispo
  • CPA strongly desired
  • Experience with ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) strongly desired
  • Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably as a CFO
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance
  • Experience with financial software and systems
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to contribute to organizational growth
  • Ready to take initiative and handle tasks proactively within the role
  • 10 plus years experience with Professional Service Organization and more than 100 employees
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Compensation range $150,000-$250,000
