Southern Oregon ESD (SOESD) is seeking a highly qualified professional to serve as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), to manage fiscal operations and to support the superintendent in developing and directing the budget, while providing collaborative leadership for administrators in preparing business models for effective and efficient program operations. The CFO also manages other program operations as requested by the superintendent, such as maintenance, facilities, and transportation. The successful candidate should have a sharp focus on supporting educational outcomes, while promoting organizational and program operations that are cost-competitive yet effective.
The CFO should be an astute manager of fiscal resources, leading a team of professionals to support payroll, accounting, facilities management, contract review, procurement, and other duties to reach agency goals. Working with the superintendent and the administrative team, the CFO promotes and supports a positive culture of efficient program operations with all staff, while playing a collaborative role in the development of highly effective integrated organizational systems, including human resources and risk management. Experience with the iVisions accounting system is preferred.
