Passel Farms has an opportunity for a dynamic CFO to join the team and lead the company into the next generation in the swine production industry. This role will focus on the strategic growth of the organization and may serve as a succession plan for the CEO role in the future. The ideal candidate will either come from or have a passion for the farming and agricultural space. This role will have direct influence on the company's financial strategy and operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with our growth goals. Advise on budgeting, cash flow, and investment priorities.
- Oversee all financial reports, ensuring accuracy in income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Lead annual budgeting and financial forecasting, monitoring performance against targets.
- Manage capital structure and secure financing to support operations and expansion.
- Maintain relationships with investors, banks, auditors, and other external partners.
- Mentor and develop the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- CPA, CFA, or CMA required.
- 10-15 years of progressive financial leadership, with 5+ years in senior financial roles.
- Strong expertise in corporate finance, financial risk management, and financial reporting. Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills.
