The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and monitoring of company policies and procedures related to accounting; responsible for overseeing the recruitment, training, and development of department personnel, and oversees accounting processes for all entities of Vintage Realty.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:- Assist in budget preparation and monthly review of budget vs. cash management among all departments.
- Assist management and owners in preparation of proformas, analyses, and special projects.
- Monitor statements for trends and variances.
- Prepare and present financials to owners and investors.
- Work closely with owners and investors to prepare and present investment analyses for acquisitions while assessing different economical impacts.
- Oversee the production of multi-family financial reports to be presented to owners.
- Oversee annual budget templates, derive the values for a substantial portion of them, and review the entirety of them.
- Select audit firms and negotiate contracts annually.
- Oversee the production of all HUD audits. Work with auditors and internal team members to complete audits accurately.
- Work with tax professionals on issues related to the proper preparation of tax returns.
- Continuously monitor and manage cash positions.
- Calculate surplus cash and prepare the methodology to move and distribute appropriately.
- Prepare annual valuations on different assets throughout the company portfolio for investors and internal use.
- Navigate insurance renewals.
- Review and analyze property tax assessments.
- Review and assist with the production of profit center reports.
- Review and edit proformas.
- Create annual budgets for all entities of Vintage Realty.
- Assist in evaluating health insurance benefits options and structure.
- Navigate Vintage Realty Company 401k plan.
- Assist on any issues needed up to initial closing.
- Oversee all financial transactions from initial to final closing.
- Create and monitor monthly draws from lender including submissions for final escrows.
- Take on special issues as needed.
- Additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications Required:- 10 years of financial management experience in leadership roles.
- Based in Shreveport, Louisiana.
- Work extended hours and/or varied shifts as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient with the use of computers, including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel.
