The Company

Hostetler Ranches, LLC farms almonds and pistachios which serve as a land bank for future residential and commercial development.

Stonefield is the largest privately owned home builder in the Central Valley and has been in the new home construction business since 1984. The company builds 100 to 200 homes per year, priced from $375,000 to over $650,000, representing the ideal variety for the first-time buyer. For 2024, the company is targeting to sell over 200 new single-family homes in addition to 300 to 400 finished lots. Los Banos has been the company's historical focus for home construction, but that is rapidly expanding in Merced, CA, with an emphasis on servicing the UC Merced campus expansion. The company relies on two general contractors to build its single-family homes.

Ranchwood Contractors performs the necessary operations of converting raw land into buildable finished lots as the “offsite” construction entity. The company employs almost 50 people and is a seasoned team that consistently delivers over 400 finished lots a year. The exceptional “offsite” operations team has created a sustainable competitive advantage for Stonefield home sales.

Hostetler Ranches currently farms over 4,000 acres of almonds and pistachios. The farming operations have been expanding since their inception in 1971 with over 25 current employees. The processing of these orchards is outsourced and provides consistent revenue as a land banking source until home building represents a better opportunity.

The Company has consistently grown revenues to roughly $200 million per year. The pristine balance sheet sits on a foundation of significant equity with minimal debt. Cash flow is managed for land acquisitions while balancing home building requirements.
