Organization: Louisiana Housing Corporation

The Louisiana Housing Corporation (LHC) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced financial professional to serve as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and stability of the organization, overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting, payroll, budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic financial leadership to the organization, working closely with the Executive Director and senior management team.
• Oversee the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
• Manage the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
• Prepare and present financial reports to the Board of Directors and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage the organization's investment portfolio.
• Oversee the internal audit function.
• Supervise and develop the finance team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary and Benefits:The anticipated hiring salary is $87,235 – $121,014 annually, commensurate with knowledge, experience, and skills.The LHC also offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, retirement savings plan, free CALM membership, employee discounts, and sick and personal leave.
