KLR Executive Search Group is proud to partner with Worthen Industries to identify the Company's new Chief Financial Officer. Founded in 1866, Worthen Industries is a family-owned and operated, highly diversified manufacturing company headquartered in Nashua, NH. Our Client designs and produces a wide variety of adhesives, coatings, laminated products, and extruded films for multiple markets such as apparel, automotive, medical, and label industries – including many Fortune 500 companies. Worthen operates five manufacturing plants in NH, MA, MI, and VA and has extensive operations in Asia.Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will oversee the Accounting and Information Technology departments, budget preparation, and audit functions.
  • Be a close business partner of the CEO, contributing to developing a new business-wide strategic plan and the senior leadership team's execution against that plan.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting and analysis, both written and oral, of financial and associated business information to the board.
  • Effectively support the implementation of business systems to develop “best-in-class” KPI dashboards that provide insights and drive operational and financial performance.
Job Qualifications:
  • 10+ years' experience as Senior VP/CFO in a private or family-owned manufacturing business of at least $100 million in sales, with responsibility for leading and driving finance required.
  • Eight to ten years of experience in financial management.
  • Experience implementing and managing sophisticated ERP systems is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in M&A/integration, tax planning, and leveraged loan credit agreements is preferred.
  • Proven success in integrating market dynamics, customer needs, competitive strengths and weaknesses, and internal capabilities into a sound strategic plan.
  • A strong “people-person” who works with integrity and ethics.
  • Intellectual horsepower, analytical skills, and sound business judgment.
  • Effectively influences actions and opinions of others by accepting feedback and giving appropriate recognition to others.
  • An action-oriented self-starter who seeks opportunity and executes proactively.
  • Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
