The Opportunity
You will join an entrepreneurial team, reporting directly to the founder & CEO of Allvision in building a best-in-class 100% digital OOH business. With your leadership at Allvision, you will aid public agencies generate critical revenue streams by developing digital real estate assets.. Through Allvision's initiatives, agencies have supported important causes, such as transportation initiatives and community wellness initiatives .
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a strategic and operational partner to the CEO and executive leadership, guiding the financial vision and direction for Allvision. As CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions, driving strategic financial planning, ensuring financial compliance, and identifying opportunities for growth. You'll play a critical role in managing and optimizing the company's financial performance within the dynamic Digital OOH media industry, addressing challenges related to financing , corporate relationships, and monetization of assets. You will be instrumental in defining the financial backbone of a fast-growing company that is reshaping the landscape of digital out-of-home advertising across North America
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement forward-thinking financial strategies that support the company's business objectives, growth plans, and market position.
- Work with the CEO and leadership team to drive key initiatives and shape the long-term business strategy, including investment, market expansion, and monetization models.
- Collaborate with executive leaders to create scenarios for growth and risk mitigation, ensuring agility in a rapidly changing market
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead annual budgeting processes and multi-year financial forecasting, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with company goals.
- Provide regular financial forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities, and offering solutions to improve financial health and stability.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Analyze key financial data to identify trends, evaluate performance, and guide decision-making.
- Develop and identify the KPI”s necessary for decision-making.
Capital Management & Funding
- Lead the optimization of the capital structure.
- Execute treasury management and ensure liquidity to meet covenants and working capital.
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, lenders, and other financial partners.
- Identify potential funding sources and develop partnerships that align with company growth and expansion strategies.
Risk Management, Tax & Compliance
- Provide accounting and tax reporting across a broad array of entities.
- Oversee collection of all tax information and tax preparation.
- Prepare accounting and tax reports and related schedules.
- Manage relationships with external tax accountants and auditors to ensure internal best practices are implemented and maintained.
- Manage all regulatory, tax, and entity level compliance
- Work with our GC and tax attorney to optimize tax structure.
- Ensure that all internal controls and compliance measures are aligned with industry standards and future regulatory developments
Operational Efficiency
- Improve financial processes, systems, and internal controls to ensure efficient operations and optimize resource allocation.
- Collaborate with sales and development teams to analyze revenue streams, expenses, and capital expenditures, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Direct the controller with their day-to-day responsibilities and special projects.
- Drive continuous improvements in financial reporting tools and automation to streamline operations and reduce costs.
Leadership & Team Development
- Assist the CEO with fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Cultivate a collaborative culture that encourages accountability, cross-functional teamwork, and innovation across projects and initiatives.
- Continue to build out the finance function for the firm to scale.
Qualifications
- MBA, CPA or relevant CFO experience
- 10+ years of experience in senior financial leadership roles, ideally as a Senior Controller or CFO, within media, entertainment, or comparable high-growth sectors.
- Proven track record in managing financial planning, budgeting, analysis, and strategic financial decision-making.
- Experienced in negotiating and refinancing debt.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and engage with key stakeholders.
- Expertise in Excel, Accounting, financial systems, ERP platforms, and data analytics tools.
- Possesses great energy, intellect, business acumen
- Demonstrates a strong ethical foundation with the highest professional integrity.
- Experience in leading finance teams through rapid growth and scaling financial operations to align with evolving business needs is highly desirable.
