Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) — a leading nonprofit dedicated to providing comprehensive behavioral health services – is seeking a strategic, mission-oriented leader to become its next Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This CFO will join an experienced executive team devoted to expanding access to high-quality mental health and recovery services, advancing AMHR's mission to inspire courage and build hope across Denver, Colorado.
Based in Aurora, Colorado, AMHR is a $90M nonprofit that serves nearly 18,000 clients annually through a wide range of behavioral health services, including outpatient care, crisis intervention, residential treatment, and specialized programs for immigrant and refugee communities. AMHR's network of care includes the newly established Cultural Development & Wellness Center, which serves as a Center of Excellence supporting immigrant and refugee populations in Colorado. As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), AMHR meets national standards for integrated, client-centered care, offering accessible, 24/7 crisis support to those with mental health and substance use needs.

The Opportunity
As the CFO at AMHR, you will hold the top financial position and be responsible for driving the financial performance of the organization. Serving as a crucial strategic partner, the CFO will lead AMHR's financial operations, providing insight and guidance to support the organization's growth as the premier behavioral health provider in the Denver metro area and beyond.
Reporting directly to the CEO and as an integral member of the executive team, the CFO will offer strategic advisement on developing the people and systems that ensure AMHR's financial health and long-term success in a dynamic healthcare landscape. This role involves being an active, hands-on leader who oversees a wide array of financial, business management, and administrative functions. As a representative of the organization, the CFO will engage regularly with internal teams and external partners.

Compensation
AMHR is offering a very competitive compensation package with pay in the range of $225,000 to $325,000 and excellent benefits.
