Company Description
SkySpigot is a pre-seed startup located in Durango, Colorado, USA. Our mission is to transform the way the world gets its water by creating the most energy efficient Atmospheric Water Generators on the market. We are self-funded and currently engaged in research and development with the short-term goal of producing a working prototype and will be seeking strategic partnerships and external funding thereafter.
Our Founder and CEO, Mark Molinaro has spent his career in senior leadership roles and most recently had a mid-8-figure exit from his previous startup. Role Description
The CFO will be responsible for financial planning, creating and analyzing financial statements, overseeing financial operations, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Must be located and legally authorized to work in the USA. Compensation is initially equity based and as funding allows traditional components – salary, bonus, etc. will be added to compensation package.
Qualifications
- Capitalization Table, Establishing Stock and Options, Capital Structure
- Experience within the Investment/Funding marketplace from emerging/pre-seed to growth stages
- Professional demeanor and ability to represent company to investment community
- Experience with Grants and Crowdfunding
- Experience with SAAS Equity Management tools such as Cake
- Financial Planning and Financial Statements skills
- Finance and Analytical Skills
- Experience in Financial Reporting
- Strong strategic financial acumen
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Startup experience preferred, startup mentality required
- Engineering experience a plus
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Knowledge of sustainability and environmental initiatives
- CPA or MBA in Finance is a plus
