Requires US Citizenship Employment Term and Type: Regular, Full Time Required Security Clearance: TS with SCI eligibility Required Education: Bachelor's Degree Salary Band: $160K-$200K-plus Job Title: Chief Growth Officer Job Description: Reports directly to Chief Executive Officer. Responsible for driving company's growth and development by increasing customer base in existing and new markets, increasing business development pipelines, and identifying new near- and long-range business opportunities. Works closely with multiple teams to achieve revenue goals. Remote work allowable for this position, occasional travel to La Plata, Maryland corporate headquarters or other locations as required. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new opportunities and markets to generate and capture new business
  • Develop and implement corporate growth strategy, plans, and processes to hit revenue goals
  • Coordinate and/or build cross-functional teams to execute business development and capture campaigns
  • Research and analyze current and emerging government acquisition strategies to understand acquisition initiatives, timelines, milestones, and market trends
  • Develop customer engagement call plan to meet with and inform organization stakeholders of company capabilities and conduct information gathering for future opportunities
  • Evaluate existing corporate partnerships to determine what works and what changes are required
  • Lead generation of and manage an effective executable pipeline to achieve significant revenue growth
  • Create and conduct gate reviews with company capture strategists and executive staff
  • Manage key client relationships and work to build new ones to generate new business, and expand the profile and reach of the company and its brand
  • Develop and strengthen internal and external relationships that will lead to increased lead generation and market share
  • Identify areas of deficiency for improving growth metrics
  • Foster a growth culture throughout the company and across all teams and work functions
  • Propose and develop strategic partnerships
  • Shape company's long-term objectives and determine plans for how to meet them
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic planning
  • Draft and present pursuit proposals and populate business development pipeline
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to corporate development initiatives
  • Research methods to enhance profit channels, pricing, and deal strategies and processes to maximize competitiveness
  • Work with Division Directors to develop utilization and contract expansion strategies and courses of action for presenting to government stakeholders
  • Develop, update, and present quarterly five-year growth projections to executive staff and Board of Directors
  • Coordinate with Director of Contracts and Proposal Manager to negotiate terms of deals with potential buyers
  • Help develop business pipeline for established small business joint venture
Required Qualifications
  • Combined 10 years' progressive industry experience developing customer bases and new business, and consistently increasing revenue growth
  • Five years building opportunity pipelines from initial identification through gate reviews
  • Documented success moving pipeline opportunities through proposal phases leading to contract awards and realized revenue (i.e., not just winning a spot on a MAC IDIQ)
  • Documented success multi-tasking among numerous opportunities in various stages of business development
  • Established network of business relationships across government and defense industry
  • Exhibit managerial qualities:
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Mastery of Microsoft Office applications
    • Able to build and manage teams of diverse skillsets
    • Circumspect thought processes
Desired Qualifications
  • M asters of Business Administration
  • Joint operational experience and understanding of JADC2 and ABMS
  • DoD science and technology research and development background
  • DoD C4ISR background
  • Understanding of national, joint, and service DoD C4ISR agencies, missions, and operational constructs
  • Understanding of national Intelligence Community and member agencies, missions, and operational constructs
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Management or Business Studies

  • TS with SCI eligibility
Physical Requirements:

  • Remote work is allowable for this position; travel to our La Plata, Maryland Corporate Headquarters or other locations as required to support business development activities
  • Position may require travel 25% of the time
