Deputy Chief Information Officer Erie, PA, USA Philadelphia, PA, USA Pittsburgh, PA, USA Virtual Req #754 Friday, December 6, 2024 As the Deputy Chief Information Officer (CIO) at the Barber National Institute, you will support the strategic and operational management of Information Systems and Telecommunications. Collaborating with leadership, you'll help develop innovative IT solutions that enhance quality, improve efficiencies, and meet organizational goals. Responsibilities: Leading strategic discussions with organizational leaders to align technology initiatives with business goals. Overseeing the development and implementation of IT infrastructure upgrades, ensuring systems are reliable and scalable. Collaborating with project managers to track progress on major IT initiatives, mitigate risks, and deliver results on time. Evaluating vendor relationships to negotiate cost-effective agreements and ensure top-quality services. Analyzing IT budget performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings, and reallocating resources as necessary. Managing cybersecurity strategies, monitoring for vulnerabilities, and overseeing incident response planning. Ensuring compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards through audits, policy updates, and team training. Coaching and mentoring staff to strengthen skills, address challenges, and foster a culture of innovation and accountability. Attending committee meetings to present updates, receive feedback, and align cross-departmental objectives. Who you are: A strategic leader with expertise in IT analysis, design, and infrastructure. A strong communicator capable of effectively working across departments. Adept at managing complex IT projects, motivating teams, and navigating regulatory landscapes. Qualifications: A Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). 15+ years of experience in Information Systems, including 8+ years in management roles. Proficiency in IT strategy, systems integration, and project management. Knowledge of HIPAA Security regulations and IT compliance. Valid driver's license. Eligibility for State Police Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance. FBI clearance required for individuals who do not meet PA residency requirement.
