Description:

We're seeking an experienced marketing leader for Kaufman Rossin, one of the top 50 CPA and advisory firms in the U.S. and an award-winning Best Place to Work.

Currently #48 on the IPA list of top accounting firms, we intend to grow significantly over the next 3-5 years, without acquisitions or private equity investments. To that end, we are seeking a marketing leader for our next phase who has experience in a marketing leadership role in a top-tier firm. If you've been CMO of a top CPA, consulting or technology firm, or second in command with readiness to take the top position, you may be the right leader for us.

Our marketing team's objective is to attract, nurture, qualify and convert leads by building brand awareness and demonstrating thought leadership with our target audiences. Our robust marketing program is built on a core of content and brand differentiation, using leading edge marketing automation platforms to distribute thought leadership to targets, and business intelligence tools to measure our results.

How You'll Contribute:

In 2025, a B2B marketing leader needs a blend of strategic vision, technological acumen, creativity, and a strong customer-centric mindset to navigate the evolving landscape successfully.

You'll lead your team through:

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: The ability to leverage data analytics and insights to drive marketing strategies will be essential. This includes not only understanding customer behavior but also predicting trends and optimizing campaigns in real-time.
  • AI and Automation: Proficiency in leveraging AI-driven tools and marketing automation platforms to personalize customer experiences, streamline operations, and improve ROI.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and journey mapping to deliver targeted and personalized marketing strategies. This includes a strong emphasis on customer experience (CX) throughout the buyer's journey.
  • Content Strategy: A nuanced approach to content marketing that focuses on thought leadership, educational content, and storytelling that resonates with B2B decision-makers.
  • Omni-channel Marketing: Integration and optimization of marketing efforts across multiple channels (digital, social, advertising, etc.) to ensure consistent messaging and maximum reach.
  • Agility and Adaptability: The ability to quickly adapt to market changes, technological advancements, and competitive landscapes. This includes embracing new channels and platforms as they emerge.
  • Partnership and Collaboration: Building strong relationships with business development, professional leaders, and management team to align marketing efforts with overall business goals and improve lead quality and conversion rates.
  • Innovation and Creativity: Encouraging a culture of innovation within the marketing team to stay ahead of the curve and differentiate the brand in a competitive market.
  • Measurable ROI: A focus on demonstrating the impact of marketing activities through clear metrics and KPIs tied to business outcomes such as revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Ethics and Compliance: Understanding and adhering to evolving data privacy regulations, regulations affecting specific business segments, (SEC and FINRA for example), and ethical considerations in marketing practices.
  • Skills You'll Bring:

    • Bachelor's degree (or more) in marketing, communications or related field
    • 15+ years leading B2B marketing teams
    • 5+ in a top-tier CPA, consulting or technology firm
    • Experience leading teams to deliver

    • Multi-channel advertising
    • Robust metrics and business intelligence

    • Future focus, with an appetite for spotting trends and testing new methods
    • Strong project management and organizational skills
    • Demonstrated ability to use data to gain and share an understanding of campaign successes and failures, identify actionable insights, and act decisively on those insights
    • Ability to learn about new topics quickly, think creatively, analytically and strategically, and apply strong problem-solving skills and sound professional judgment
    • Well-acquainted with business and accounting concepts, including the evolution of the accounting industry
    • Ability to lead a high-performance team through rapid evolution.

    Technical Skills:

    • Fluent in Microsoft Office environment
    • Experience with project management software, Asana preferred
    • User experience with metrics and reporting tools, like GA4, DOMO or Tableau

    How You'll Stand Out:

    • Experience working in an Agile marketing environment
    • Record leading marketing during a period of dynamic growth in a CPA firm
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish
