Responsibilities:
- Directs all nursing service activities for the facility assigned by making recommendations for staff/patient ratios
- Maintain a system to determine and provide adequate staff for provision of appropriate nursing care
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for nursing service in compliance with PAM Health system policies and procedure and accreditation standards.
Qualifications:
- Active RN License in the state.
- Masters Degree, or active progression toward a Masters Degree, is required.
- Regardless of degree (AD, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters) a minimum of five years of clinical acute care nursing experience is required (preferably in step down or medical surgical) and three years of experience in nursing management preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS required.
- Certification in a specified field preferred (CNE, CRRN, CCRN, PCCN).
