Department overview:

The Regional Americas COO team is made up of three distinct services critical to the ongoing success of the Finance Division. CFO Strategic Initiatives is responsible for the management of various regional Americas CFO initiatives to help achieve strategic short and long term Finance objectives. US Finance Transformation is tasked with changing the way Finance staff approach traditional work through automation and innovation. The team is responsible for digital tools introduction/rollout program, as well as training initiatives for said tools. Chief Of Staff is part of the COO team with high visibility across all levels within the Department, and caters to a broad delivery of People Agenda deliverables and programs.

Key objectives critical to success:

Core responsibilities include supporting the Americas CFO - Chief of Staff (COS) and the Finance Division, by assisting with the management of the People Agenda. This role is responsible for partnering with the COS to ensure that People management strategies align with Finance and firm objectives, initiatives and culture in the Americas region, making this support position very visable and highly critical to the division. The COS Support Analyst is a proactive people champion, change agent and strategic partner across functions. The role also assists with leading operational and administrative activities for Finance.

Responsibilities:

* Dependable and trusted resource to the US CFO Chief of Staff

* Assist with junior hiring programs, including the Finance Internship, Explore Diversity, and Grad hires focusing on inclusive recruiting, development and retention

* Assist with preparation and delivery of Diversity and Inclusion initiatives

* Partner with the Chief of Staff on developing effective internal communications to promote morale and finance goals

* Maintain involvement in group's day to day operations continuously monitoring the landscape to identify potential improvement opportunities and addressing them accordingly

* Assist with establishing relationships across teams to ensure being in tune with the drivers and sentiments within each department

* Assist with the development of Division culture

* Partner with Compliance, HR, CRES, IT on onboarding, staff related issues, and logistics

* Participate in all People events, employee engagement, development and recognition programs

* Support the General administration of day-to-day operations

* Point person for the re-write of Finance's new Intranet site (SharePoint Online)

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

* 2+ years of experience in a support Chief of Staff or similar type role within Financial Services

* High comfort level using modern tools like those present in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, etc)

* Proven track record of developing, maintaining strong trust-based relationships with a variety managers, large teams, and key decision making stakeholders

* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, with CFO, leadership team, employees and partner divisions

* Must demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, sensitivity, excellent judgement and attention to the details

* Attention to detail, and persistence with following up on a multitude of people themed initiatives within the division

* High interest to assist with the implementation of impactful programs that increase and sustain a high level of employee engagement

* Very strong time management and organizational skills

* Creative mindset that is willing to research new and exciting themes around employee engagement

* Ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects, and competing requests simultaneously - (very strong time management and organizational skills)

* A passion for assisting with the development and execution of programs which enhance the employee experience

* Innovative mind-set, with the desire to challenge the status quo and drive forward change

* Creative self-starter who has the drive to move projects from start to completion

* Dedicated to the team with a strong desire to see the division flourish as a result of your outgoing personality

* Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentations and speaking points

* Desire to build strong business acumen and presentation skills

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar employment experience in the support of a Chief of Staff

* base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, corporate and functional title and duties, job-related knowledge and advanced degrees, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
