The ideal candidate will contribute to our goals of navigating what's next in synthetic biology, immunology, and cell engineering while living our core values: bring intellectual rigor, elevate each other, and stay true to why.ResponsibilitiesServe as an extension of the CEO, improving his ability to track and manage everything that's happening in the business, from day-to-day operations to long-term strategic initiatives, with a strong focus on being a change agent.Partner across the organization to drive operational excellence, innovation, business improvement, cost savings, and efficiencies; provide cross-functional continuous improvement framework.Monitor progress on strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with company goals.Conduct research and provide analysis to support the decision-making processes.Focus and prioritize the executive team's attention, ensuring they are spending their time effectively and efficiently on the most important needs of the business.Create operating rhythms & structure for the executive team that support efficient communication and robust decision making; ensure effective dissemination of information and alignment on key priorities. Drive executive team meeting agendas and aligned actions.Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, ensuring a deep understanding of current business issues and opportunities.Be the executive team's eyes and ears: keep a pulse on what's happening in the organization, surfacing concerns before they develop into broader problems and escalate the appropriate channels.Oversee the successful execution of leadership team and board meetings, including the preparation of relevant documents, briefing materials, and communications.Lead executive-level strategic initiatives, from conception through execution.Be a culture carrier. As a proxy for the executive team, set the tone for what it means and feels like to work at Kyverna; partner with CEO, HR, and executive team to conceptualize and drive initiatives forward to further enhance the culture.Other duties as assigned.RequirementsGraduate or undergraduate degree, or equivalent in Computer Science / Engineering, Economics or Finance; MBA, with a focus on Strategy preferred/required.10+ years of progressive business experience, with extensive exposure to the biotech or pharmaceutical R&D environment.Experience as a Strategy Leader or Management Consultant.Experience in global roles across US, EMEA, and APJ markets.Strong executive presence, facilitation, and communications skills.Ability to simplify and ruthlessly prioritize their own work and that of the team.Ability to frame, structure, and implement large and complex change initiatives.Committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and impactful culture.Ability to drive collaboration, resolve conflict, and solve complex business problems.Be the Go-To person and exemplify Kyverna's onsite standard.Extremely high work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile with great flexibility and integrity.Excellence in structured thinking with outstanding analytical capabilities (quantitative and qualitative).Ability to communicate clearly and simply with mid-level and senior audiences. This salary range is an estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay for this posted position, and the actual salary may vary based on various factors, including without limitation geographic location, individual education, experience, tenure, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
