About our team:

Were largely a remote team, but we believe theres no substitute for meeting in-person. We organize small off-sites twice per year to work a little and mostly get to spend time with each other. Some of our previous off-sites have been in Majorca, Munich, and Mexico.

Were focusing on growing Presidio as a profitable, sustainable business. We mean it when we say weve bootstrapped - weve never raised a dollar from outside investors. Were looking for long-term members of our team. Many of our team members have worked with us for 5+ years and our management team has had 0 turnover for years. About the role:

As our first Chief of Staff, you will be the right-hand to one of the founders, playing a critical role in scaling our business to the next level. This generalist role will require you to roll up your sleeves to manage day-to-day operations while also participating in the strategic direction of the company. This is a new role that demands motivation, versatility, strong leadership, and the ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment with a flexible remote-work policy.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted advisor and right-hand to the founder, providing critical operational and strategic direction to drive the companys growth.
• Lead strategic initiatives, with the support of consultants as necessary
• Initial projects would include developing pricing frameworks for our software, creating budgets and compensation plans, and conducting customer and market research.
• Assisting founder with recruiting, candidate screening, and onboarding
• Lead the annual business planning process and collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to set business priorities and monitor their progress
• Work closely with our legal counsel, accountant, and bookkeeper to ensure compliance with legal and tax obligations
• Identify and implement operational efficiencies and improvements to support scalability

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills and product sense are paramount to success in this role
• Previous experience in an analytical role and a product role at a software company.
• Experience with Shopify is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively interact with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing multiple projects.
• Flexibility to work from an office in Miami and benefit from a flexible remote policy.
