super{set} is looking for a highly organized and strategic Chief of Staff to partner closely with our founders. This role is crucial in driving operational efficiency, ensuring strategic alignment, and helping to scale our growing company as well as our portfolio companies. Our ideal candidate brings experience from consulting or similarly high-paced, strategy-focused roles, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities, constantly context switch (and do it well), execute complex projects, and provide actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with fund founders to form and build new companies and grow Super{set} as a firm.
- Collaborate with co-founders and executives at Super{set} portfolio companies on high-priority projects across product and technology, go-to-market, and organizational building.
- Manage early-stage companies and lead department meetings (e.g., GTM, all-hands), with the goal of becoming a CEO-level operator.
- Build product roadmaps and narratives to drive alignment and clarity for portfolio companies.
- Lead board meeting preparation, attend board meetings, and ensure follow-through on action items.
- Prepare business plans, investor pitch decks, and craft compelling company narratives for internal and external use.
- Prospect potential advisors, customers, and other networking opportunities to enhance portfolio growth.
- Anticipate needs across the portfolio and create and implement solutions that drive operational efficiency.
- Create financial forecasts, budgets, and pricing models to guide business strategy.
- Craft messaging and strategy for fundraising efforts for Super{set}s venture funds.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required
- 2+ years experience with preference for management consulting or strategic operations in a technology company.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and lead in dynamic environments while context switching daily.
- Energized by working with others and fostering collaboration across teams.
- Structured thinker and communicator, with proven experience working effectively with executive stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $150k to $200k, which does not include the value of benefits or a potential equity grant.
