We are looking for a Chief of Staff to the CEO and COO who will be a strategic partner and advisor to them and the senior leadership team. The Chief of Staff will focus on initiating and executing new strategic partnerships, managing major cross-functional projects, researching and pursuing new business development opportunities, and representing the Executive Office to marquee external partners and select engagements. We expect this to be a catalytic, career-defining 2-3 year commitment, after which the leader is welcome to remain the Chief of Staff or transition into another functional leadership role.
Responsibilities:
- Build, grow, and maintain major strategic company-wide partnerships including but not limited to Fortune 500 company executives, major government entities, community alliances, and more.
- Manage major cross-functional company projects–particularly in new business development–including business case analysis and diligence, early execution, internal collaboration, partner engagement, and success monitoring.
- Oversee global Membership program including onboarding, engagement, and retention platforms and programs while managing Membership team.
- Be a go-to thought partner for the CEO and COO including new business opportunities, risk identification and mitigation, and proactively address project issues across the company to keep programs on track.
- Manage critical fundraising from key partners including corporations, family offices, foundations, and more.
- Represent the CEO and COO in meetings and events, and act as a liaison between leadership and internal and external stakeholders including the Board of Directors.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Must be in LA or NYC.
- 5-10+ years of experience in a chief of staff, program/product/marketing manager, consulting, or investment banking role, ideally.
- “And more” attitude, able to quickly grasp highly complex, multifaceted challenges, drive them to resolution, and creatively bolster them even further.
- “Everything is possible” executional style, including rigorous data and industry expert-insights, rapid and seamless cross-functional execution, and resilience through any challenge amidst tight deadlines and an ever-changing world.
- Excellent, positive, and memorable communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Passionate about the organization's mission and values, and committed to advancing multicultural communities.
- Proficient in Google Suite, Adobe products, and other relevant software and tools.
- Salary: $150,000 – $170,000/year (Contingent on Experience & Location) + Bonus.
