Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO)/Integrator to lead our operational strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will be sharp, smart, and persistent, with a strong ability to balance and support our Visionary, Dave. This role requires someone who can clearly articulate Dave's vision, create actionable strategies, and drive growth while maintaining consistency and high organizational standards. The successful candidate will possess managerial courage, strategic problem solver, and a deep understanding of business scaling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence: Lead the implementation and execution of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS (r))), ensuring that processes are Fully Built and Automated (FBA). Manage operations with consistency and organizational precision.
  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the Visionary to develop and execute a three-year annual operating plan, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. Take ownership of P&L and achieve revenue and profit targets.
  • Financial Management: Manage financial aspects, including P&L ownership, and ensure financial targets are met while maintaining strong financial health.
  • Cross-Departmental Communication: Develop and implement a robust communication strategy across departments to bridge gaps and facilitate effective collaboration between sales, operations, and other teams.
  • Growth and Scaling: Design and execute multi-level market strategies to support and drive company growth. Understand and navigate the inner workings of scaling a business.
  • Risk Management: Make informed decisions regarding project risks and manage departmental escalations effectively. Ensure issues are resolved for good.
  • Team Development: Play a key role in the hiring and vetting process, ensuring the recruitment of top talent. Foster a supportive environment and work closely with team members to address and resolve issues.
  • Vision Execution: Translate and implement Dave's vision across the organization, ensuring alignment and clear communication of goals and strategies.
  • Adaptability: Navigate disruptions and adapt strategies as needed. Be open-minded, flexible, and able to balance different perspectives without stirring the pot.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a Director or higher role.

  • Experience in small to medium-sized businesses ($5M-$200M).

  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset and experience in scaling organizations.

  • Strong financial aptitude and experience with operational management.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (could be a nice to have).

  • Proven track record of leveraging technology for growth and success.

Preferred:

  • Experience with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System).

  • Background in construction or related industries.

  • Bilingual abilities (Spanish)

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.

  • Multi-market leadership experience.

Desired:

  • Experience with concrete and M&A (mergers and acquisitions).

Salary Range: $150k plus (net profit incentives)
