Mantell Associates has formed a partnership with an established Cell Therapy CDMO who is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to lead company operations.
Chief Operating Officer - Responsibilities:
- Spearhead operations within the organisation and take full top level responsibility
- Work closely with the leadership team to define operational strategy and direction
- Continue to build a high performing GMP team with a culture of Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement
- Play a key role in directing future growth and success of the organisation
Chief Operating Officer - Requirements:
- Bsc. in Biology or related Life Science discipline, Msc. or PhD preferred, MBA also desirable
- Experience in biomanufacturing or pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Outstanding knowledge of business principles and cultural awareness
- Possesses strong business development skills, able to identify and convert leads into long-term relationships
- Demonstrated experience in senior leadership roles
- Proven track record of successfully leading and developing teams
- Brings extensive industry experience and established network within industry
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and secure large contracts
- Possesses an entrepreneurial mindset and comprehensive knowledge of the market landscape
- Skilled in working collaboratively with Senior Management teams, as well as Partners and other key decision makers within the industry
