Job Description:

At Catapult, we are currently supporting our member, Old Saratoga, in their search for Head of Operations in their Wilson County, North Carolina office.

Old Saratoga is a leading bottled water supplier facility located in Stantonsburg, North Carolina (Eastern Wilson County). We are an entrepreneurial-minded, growing company founded in 1992 with an established customer base and new market potential. The company is strategically located on a secure 50-acre private location which draws its water from the Black Creek Aquifer in Saratoga, NC.

In addition to having demonstrated knowledge and experience in managing and leading small operations in the Food & Beverage industry for 5+ years, the successful individual will:

  • Have demonstrated executive-level experience for driving results within a small business operation.
  • Take an analytical and well-thought-out approach to sales and operational strategy.
  • Have the mindset to maximize resources and increase operating efficiency.
  • Possess the leadership ability to motivate the team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leading operational strategy, planning, and analysis for a regional water bottling company.
  • Driving company performance with a sales-oriented mindset focused on maintaining established partnerships and developing new lines of business.
  • Supporting and managing the overall team, including 4 direct reports and a dotted line to the full operational team and production line.

Qualifications:

  • Food & Beverage industry experience required, with experience in wholesale distribution strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or another industry-related field strongly preferred.
  • At least 5 years of industry-related experience including 3 years in upper management required.
  • Knowledge of SQF requirements, standards, and procedures.
  • Disciplined self-starter who appreciates a tightknit, hands-on operation.
