Job Summary:The Chief Operations Office, Baytown and Operational Excellence directs, administers, and coordinates the activities of the Customer Service, CBT Lab, and Training Departments at the Baytown Training Center in support of administrative policies, goals, and objectives established by the President & CEO. This role will serve on the ISTC Executive Team.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Dispenses advice, guidance, direction, and authorization to carry out daily operations consistent with established policies and procedures as set by the President & CEO and the Board of Directors.Time will be split between our Baytown and Beaumont facilities but will have primary authority over the Operations of the Baytown Facility and serve as a backup to the COO, Beaumont.Develops and installs procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow.Establishes operating procedures consistent with the President & CEO's broad policies and objectives and ensures their execution.Evaluates the results of overall operations regularly and systematically and reports these results to the President & CEO.Ensures that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.Ensures that all organizational activities and operations are carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.Responsible for assisting in the development and executing of the budget for the Baytown Training Center.Acts as liaison with all other functional departments in the organization to ensure that all day-to-day operations of the organization run smoothly.Measuring success: Build, maintain, and report-out Key Performance Indicators and other relevant data that will measure and drive business performance.Operations Excellence: Work across the organization to look for continuous improvement opportunities within our work processes, policies, and procedures.Employee Development: Lay out plans for professional development and growth for subordinates.Communications:Communicate with clients regarding services, customer experience, and potential problems.Communicate with operational staff on newly implemented services/products to ensure successful execution.Coordinate and manage feedback from clients, including analysis of surveys.Promote ISTC at local functions including but not limited to chamber events, GTBR events, trade shows, and other networking opportunities.Supervisory Responsibilities:Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Baytown Training Center.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.Participate in interviews with potential new staff.Appraising performance by rewarding, coaching, addressing issues, and resolving problems.Qualifications and Educational Requirements:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
