Job Description:

Recruit Secure is collaborating with a large, successful, and growing for-profit Healthcare company seeking an energetic and seasoned executive for the Chief Operating Officer (COO) role. The company owns many Skilled Nursing Homes across several states in the Southeast USA (AL, NC, TN, LA, MD, VA). The focus of this position is to assist the company in delivering strategic plans to achieve corporate goals, address operational challenges, and implement financial and process improvements. The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in staff leadership, business development, and financial management in the healthcare industry (Skilled Nursing Home experience a must). Additionally, a deep understanding of long-term care facility operations, including all federal, state, local, and Department of Health guidelines and regulations. The position reports directly to the CEO. The COO can reside in any state. Salary, benefits, bonuses, and a profit-sharing plan are offered. Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master's in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred
  • 8-10 years of health care operational experience in long-term, Skilled Nursing
  • 5 + years in a Senior Leadership role, e.g., Executive VP, SVP, COO, CEO
  • Experience in managing multiple facilities in multiple states
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying financial, processes, and/or performance problems and implementing solutions.
  • Knowledgeable of healthcare regulations and standards by state
  • Excellent managerial, interpersonal, and communications skills
  • Ability to travel.
