Job Description:

The Vice President and Chief Program Officer (CPO) is a member of the Agency's Executive Leadership team and is responsible for program development and management, establishing internal and external partnerships, staff development and coaching, programmatic quality and compliance, budget and resource management, as well as overall leadership and oversight of all program operations, including a Residential Treatment Center (RTC), 853 school, Health Center, Mental Health Clinics, and Community Divisions. This position reports to the President and CEO and provides counsel to Executive Leadership and interfaces with the Board of Directors.Key Duties: Lead programmatic development and implementation for the organization, aligned with strategic priorities.Establish measurable, achievable program goals and objectives on an annual basis and monitor progress.Oversee the coordination, integration, and delivery of programs and related activities, promoting collaborative relationships between program areas and ensuring that the expectations of all stakeholders are consistently met.Implement continuous quality improvement processes in collaboration with CQI to ensure program effectiveness and client satisfaction; identify and address program challenges and barriers.Develop and foster a high-performing, inclusive, and accountable culture throughout program teams, aligned with organization commitments.Directly supervise, provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to program leaders to build their supervisory and managerial leadership skills to engage, encourage, empower, and motivate program staff; develop succession planning strategy.Cultivate relationships and establish partnerships between different program areas, encouraging knowledge sharing, resource utilization, and collaborative problem-solving.Collaboratively establish approaches and methods for evaluating program outcomes and leverage internal and/or external resources to inform program results.Stay informed of developments and trends within the field; develop new program ideas and projects to continuously improve and strengthen support and services provided.Collaborate with the Finance team and Executive leadership to develop and monitor programmatic budgets to ensure sound fiscal management and provide guidance and oversight on budgets, financial monitoring and actively participate in grant opportunities.Collaborate with the Development team to identify funding opportunities, support fundraising efforts and develop partnerships.Play a key role in the overall development, strategic planning, service delivery, and management of the organization across multiple areas.Participate in and provide leadership for organization-wide learning, development, and culture-building activities.Interact with the Board of Directors as a thought partner and liaison to board committees as assigned.Represent Andrus on relevant committees and task forces, as well as at speaking engagements, conference panels, and trainings.Support the overall strategic plan of the organization.Ability to adhere to our organization's core values and commitments.Key Qualifications: Master's degree in human services or related field required.7+ years' experience in management or leadership roles, preferably in program leadership, program development and/or program evaluation in the non-profit sector.7+ years' experience supervising, managing and coaching staff and teams.Solid understanding of nonprofit program operations and business functions (RTC, 853 School, Health Center, Clinic Operations, Community-based supports, etc.).Strong computer skills, with knowledge of electronic health record systems and a variety of software applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, ADP, Relias, etc.Familiarity with Social Current / COA Accreditation a plus.Personal commitment to ethical practice and ability to adhere to Commitments of Sanctuary Model.Ability to access and utilize ADP app on smartphone or other device for access to agency programs.Benefits: Generous PTO, 4 weeks of vacation, floating holidays, holidays, personal and sick time.Health Insurance.Dental Insurance.Vision Benefits.401(k) Employer Contributions.Tuition Reimbursement.Aflac Benefits.Flex Spending Accounts.Employer Paid STD, LTD and Life Insurance.Professional Development.Physical/Travel Requirements: Must have the ability to reach, walk, sit, climb stairs, bend, lift up to 20lbs, and able to travel.
