As the leader of our rapidly growing enterprise sales organization, you will be responsible for managing all new client and upsell bookings for our market-leading sales intelligence application that boasts over 100+ clients with extremely high renewal subscription renewal rates (90+%). What we're looking for:You are process-driven and able to build scalable, repeatable best practices. You are an ambitious, versatile sales leader with a record of beating sales targets and experience recruiting, developing and managing a team of A-players. You bring a rigorous, high-energy approach to coaching and mentoring, AND to forecasting and pipeline management. You're ready to make a name for yourself building something great. The CRO will report to the CEO and will be a member of our leadership team. The right candidate is high energy, results-oriented, reliable and persistent sales pro. We want you to be ambitious and willing to do what it takes to get the job done.What you'll be doing: ·Leading the sales team to drive exceptional results beyond expectations, growing revenues and scale the business dramatically. Managing the sales pipeline, including forecasting and budgeting. ·Selling to large accounts directly. ·Providing strategic updates to the management team on performance, development and growth of sales organization. Attending in-person meetings, develop and present sales presentations and attend trade shows as required. ·Recruiting, developing and manage an industry-leading sales team to exceptional achievement and long-term retention and motivation. ·Training the team in improving conversion and renewals. ·Guiding the sales team with varying approaches, personal characteristics, and so on. What you'll need: ·The CRO must be a strong leader and an excellent communicator. Exceptional interpersonal skills are imperative·10 years+ of sales experience, driving results, exceeding plans and recruiting and development a world-class sales organization·Experience selling Software as a Service (SaaS), or selling research products ·Proven results, evidence of exceeding sales goals for yourself and your team ·Strong analytical and quantitative skills ·Successful track record managing a technology or market research sales team that sells similar sized deals ($10 - $50k) and similar volume (20+ deals a year per rep) ·Strong sales methodology, metrics driven, using data to examine and redefine and improve the production of the team ·Salesforce savvy- knows how to use the tool to accurately forecast, and to manage rep activity ·Experience personally managing very large and very important accounts ·Executive presence and confidence ·An inspirational team leader·Ability to operate in a highly fluid environment ·Problem solver attitude ·A good sense of humor; does not take one's self too seriously ·Intellectual honesty (a realist vs. an eternal optimist or constant cheerleader) ·Strong work ethic What's in it for you: The best benefit is working with other smart, ambitious people to build a company that invents market-leading services our customers rave about.
