About the Company:
We are seeking an experienced Chief Supply Chain Officer to join a growing pharmaceutical company. As the Chief Supply Chain Officer, you will be responsible for optimizing their supply chain operations and ensuring efficient and effective delivery of products or services. You will oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution. They need someone who is strategic, detail-oriented, and capable of leading our supply chain team to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline the supply chain operations and improve overall performance and productivity.
- Oversee the procurement process to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.
- Collaborate with suppliers and negotiate supplier contracts to obtain the best terms and ensure supplier performance is consistently meeting expectations.
- Manage inventory levels to optimize working capital and minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Monitor and analyze key supply chain metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate solutions.
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and resolve supply chain issues.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with proven track record of success in optimizing supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
- Experience in procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and navigate through ambiguity.
- Proficient in using supply chain management software and systems.
