Duties and Responsibilities:
· Deliver individual and family therapy for children whose mothers are participating in the program.
· Use trauma-informed, evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
· Conduct intake interviews, assessments, set goals, and monitor progress.
· Engage in reflective supervision, continuously improving clinical work with supervisor feedback.
· Complete all necessary documentation, including court reports and client updates, in accordance with agency guidelines.
· Provide crisis intervention and coordinate with external providers for comprehensive support.
· Actively follow up to ensure client engagement and retention, addressing any service barriers.
· Handle additional tasks or projects as directed by the supervisor.
Requirements:
· Licensed LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York.
· Experience in child-parent or dyadic psychotherapy.
· 2-3 years working with high-risk populations who have experienced complex trauma.
· Strong writing and documentation skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
· Knowledge of evidence-based models (CBT, MI, DBT, TF-CBT).
· Culturally sensitive approach to service delivery.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records.
· Experience with criminal justice-involved populations is preferred.
